TERMS OF SERVICE

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CamelLayer, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

CamelLayer provides prompt optimization for AI coding tools. The service translates, compresses, and corrects prompts to reduce token usage. CamelLayer operates as a hook/middleware layer and does not modify your codebase or project files.

3. License Keys and Accounts

License keys are issued per user and are non-transferable. You are responsible for keeping your license key confidential. Sharing keys may result in rate limiting or account suspension.

Free tier keys are limited to 200 optimizations per 12-hour window. Pro keys provide unlimited optimizations at up to 100 requests per minute.

4. Acceptable Use

• Do not use the service to process malicious, illegal, or harmful content
• Do not attempt to reverse-engineer the optimization algorithms
• Do not share or resell license keys
• Do not exceed rate limits through automated means
• Do not use the service to circumvent AI provider terms of service

5. Payment and Billing

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly ($7/month) or annually ($70/year) through Lemon Squeezy. You may cancel at any time. Refunds are handled per Lemon Squeezy's refund policy.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.

6. Data Processing

By using CamelLayer, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, store, and process your prompts for service operation, improvement, model training, testing, and analytics. See our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling.

7. Service Availability

CamelLayer is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uptime. The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or updates.

8. Limitation of Liability

CamelLayer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time for violation of these terms. You may terminate your account at any time by discontinuing use and deleting your license key.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
